Monitoring & Inline Quality Control (IQC)
With Watttron’s digital solutions, you monitor and analyze your sealing processes in real time. Monitoring and Inline Quality Control enable data-driven process optimization, early fault detection, and maximum process reliability.
Monitoring
Our technology is connected to a programmed graphical interface that essentially supports three functions:
Step 1 – Control: Visually supported programming of the heaters.
Step 2 – Functional Monitoring: Mapping of the current manufacturing process and error monitoring.
Step 3 – Power Monitoring: Measures the system’s current power consumption and detects anomalies in the manufacturing process.
Inline Quality Control
Anomalies in the sealing process are automatically detected through AI-supported analysis of power consumption and temperature at the sealing head. Defective seals can then be specifically removed from the production line. For rigid packaging, for example, the following defects can be reliably identified:
- Missing, double, or incorrectly positioned liners
- Liners sticking to the heating element
- Product contamination in the sealing area
