Our cera2seal® heating system is specifically designed for sealing and welding processes. For the first time worldwide, it enables the implementation of complex packaging geometries—for example, intricate irregular shapes. It also handles circular geometries with various diameters and widths, as well as sealing bars with special, customer-specific contours. This is made possible by the freely configurable arrangement of individual heating circuits. Integrated temperature sensors directly on the surface of the heating systems enable precise control of the actual temperature distribution.

Key Features of Digital Heating Technology

Temperature Control

Precise temperature control directly at the surface enables reliable processing even of temperature-sensitive materials within the tightest process windows. Continuous temperature measurement and intelligent control keep the temperature constant—regardless of cycle times, machine downtime, or changing operating conditions. The result is stable processes, reproducible results, and the highest product quality.

Temperature Profiling

Ability to set temperature zones / improvement of sealing quality at critical points such as triple points and layer transitions / differentiated heat application between 2-layer and 4-layer materials.

To facilitate opening the packaging (e.g., a yogurt cup), a lower temperature can be set in the area of the opening tab
